FABULOUS FACULTY

Cheryl Ohlemacher
Miss Cheryl, owner and director of The Moving Company, has been a certified member of Dance Masters of America since 1982. Her competition team has won many awards, including three national championship production number awards. She is often asked to judge competitions around the country. Miss Cheryl has former students who are now dance teachers or dance team coaches. Several are working toward a degree in dance and dancing in college musicals. Her students have gone on to dance professionally as a Cincinnati Bengals dancer, a Radio City Rockette, and on Broadway!  Some have danced professionally at Disneyland, on cruise lines, in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, and the Bahamas.

 

 

Wendy Ohlemacher
Miss Wendy, co-owner and director, was a Moving Company dancer for 15 years. She was awarded many high scores and scholarships at regional and national competitions. She is a 2009 graduate of Otterbein College where she studied English, education, and dance and was also a varsity cheerleader. Wendy is a certified member of Dance Masters of America.

 

Lindsey Sturzinger
Miss Lindsey is a former Moving Company dancer who danced professionally for several years. She has performed on stages from Los Angeles to Atlantic City, at Disney, on a cruise ship, in Aruba, Japan, and China. She was even a Radio City Rockette. After returning home, Lindsey choregraphed for area high school musicals. She and her husband Ted have one daughter and one son.

 

Lisa Hartung
Miss Lisa began teaching at The Moving Company in 2004. She is originally from the Detroit area, where she taught dance for seven years. She has performed in Vegas, Guam, and Mexico, and was also a Radio City Rockette. Lisa and her husband Jason have one daughter and one son.

 

Jenae Finneran
Miss Jenae is a former gymnast who competed for 10 years. She coached cheerleading for 2 years at Norwalk Middle School. Jenae is a graduate of Kent State University with a degree in education. Jenae and her husband have three sons.

 

 

Lisa Jones
Miss Lisa has a degree in early childhood education from Lock Haven University. She has over 10 years of professional dance experience and is a choreographer/show supervisor for Cedar Point. She also choreographs for area high school musicals. Lisa and her husband have one daughter.
