FABULOUS FACULTY

Cheryl Ohlemacher
Miss Cheryl, director of The Moving Company, has been a certified member of Dance Masters of America since 1982. Her competition team has won many awards, including two national championship production number awards. She is often asked to judge competitions around the country. Miss Cheryl has former students who are now dance teachers or dance team coaches. Several are working toward a degree in dance and dancing in college musicals. Her students have gone on to dance professionally as a Cincinnati Bengals dancer, a Radio City Rockette, and on Broadway!  Some have danced professionally at Disneyland, on cruise lines, in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, and the Bahamas.

Wendy Ohlemacher
Miss Wendy, assistant director, was a Moving Company dancer for 15 years and was awarded many high scores and scholarships at regional and national competitions. She is an honors scholar at Otterbein College where she is studying education and dance. She performs in the annual dance concert and is also a Cardinal varsity cheerleader.

 

Jessy Ruthsatz
Miss Jessy is a former Moving Company dancer. She graduated from BGSU where she was a Falcon cheerleader. She also does choreography for area cheer squads. Jessy and her husband Scott are the proud parents of five children.

Olga Wise
Miss Olga has been a Moving Company ballet instructor since 1999. She is a native of the Ukraine and a former member of the Moscow Ballet. She has also performed and choreographed in Egypt, Turkey, and Romania. Olga and her husband Jamie have one son.

Lisa Hartung
Miss Lisa began teaching at The Moving Company in 2004. She is originally from the Detroit area, where she taught dance for seven years. She has performed in Vegas, Guam, and Mexico, and was also a Radio City Rockette. Lisa and her husband Jason have one daughter.

Lindsey Sturzinger
Miss Lindsey is a former Moving Company dancer who danced professionally for several years. She has performed on stages from Los Angeles to Atlantic City, on a cruise ship, in Aruba, Japan, and China. She was also a Radio City Rockette. Lindsey and her husband Ted have one daughter and one son.

 

Karen Mork
Karen Mork is our studio manager. She is the mother of three former Moving Company dancers and is also city editor for the Sandusky Register.
